The Séance Chamber ("the Service") is a creative entertainment platform that uses large language model (LLM) artificial intelligence to simulate conversations with historical figures. The AI generates responses based on publicly available historical information and creative interpretation. These responses are fictional and should not be treated as factual, historical, or authoritative.
2. No Professional Advice
The "Spiritual Advice" feature is provided strictly for entertainment. Responses should not be construed as professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to medical, psychological, legal, financial, or therapeutic advice. If you are experiencing a crisis or need professional help, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services in your area.
3. Historical Figures & Representation
The Service features AI-generated personas of historical figures who are in the public domain. These personas are creative interpretations and do not claim to accurately represent the views, beliefs, or personality of any real person. The Service does not claim endorsement by, or affiliation with, any historical figure's estate, foundation, or related organization.
4. Custom Spirit Feature
The custom spirit summoning feature allows users to enter names of deceased persons. We strongly recommend using this feature only for historical (deceased) figures. Users are responsible for ensuring their use of this feature is respectful and does not violate any applicable laws regarding the right of publicity or defamation. The Service is not intended for summoning living persons.
5. User Conduct
Users agree to use the Service respectfully and lawfully. You may not use the Service to generate content that is harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.
6. Payments & Refunds
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. One-time purchases (Curious Soul) are non-refundable once sessions have been used. Monthly subscriptions (Spirit Seeker, Medium) can be cancelled at any time, with access continuing until the end of the current billing period. Refund requests for subscriptions may be submitted within 7 days of purchase.
7. Privacy & Data
Conversation data is stored securely and associated with your account. We do not sell or share your conversation data with third parties. AI-generated responses are not reviewed by humans unless required for safety or legal compliance. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the Service, including but not limited to reliance on AI-generated content, emotional distress, or decisions made based on responses from the Service.
9. Age Requirement
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
